33's won't fit my 4x4

I put 285-70-17's on my 2008 without the leveling kit. Yeah, they were close, but I couldn't make them hit anything. Not even backing up fast with the wheels turned. I have them on stock 17 inch alloy rims. (I do have a leveling kit now, but I didn't need to do it)

If the tires are a 325x60x18 or a 305x65x17 they probably will rub a little. A 285x70x17 or a 285x65x18 are both 33's and will fit on a stock 4x4. The tire width is the problem. Level it out and it should be OK.

yeah i find that strange too cus i got 31" tires on 20" wheels and i got plenty of room for 33" tires but like everyone said its the width that would be the issue when you turn and such slight rub on the valence but im not sure i havent tried it yet haha
