It is easy, but you guys are leaving out a few big things. Poping your ball joint can be hairy if you don't know what your doing. Before poping the ball joint off, make sure to keep the nut threaded on a few threads so you can keep control of everything. Also you have to make sure to keep pressure off of your brake lines. If you put too much pressure on them they will break and then you will have a real mess on your hands.
