Find navi heads and intake too for a simple install if you can. It will fire and run perfect with the stock harness and stock pcm tune.

Gonna follow this one for sure. Would like a 4v to put our 4.6 right at the 5.4 power levels.

4v conversion is simple. FRPP even offers a conversion kit that includes the necessary components

still securing all parts needed. original valve covers and timing cover i had lined up fell through. bright side is tomorrow after a scrap run i'll have the funds for the back up set. then my wifes birthday comes up so the project will get sidelined untill mid April (due to scheduling and family time and so on)but rest assured a dohc 4.6l is coming soon!

What year is your truck? And do you have the electronic throttle body? What intake do you use?

2005 with electronic throttle body. the plan is just plug in a 2005 mustang gt throttle body and drive away!! (hopefully) the theory is right now that the electronics dont care what they are as long as the input values are within operating range and output values can be interpreted. and using a stock 98 mark viii intake manifold.
