Ok, so crunch time, final answer, 285/70/17, 305/65/17, or 315/70/17? No chip (don't wanna mess with one til my warranty is up) and I do have a 2.5" leveling kit

285/70/17 would be most practical, but don't do what I did and get them and put 10k miles on them and realize I should have originally bought the 315/70/17s. Mine also isn't my daily driver so the mpg loss isn't as big of a deal.

It's not my daily driver either, but I guess my biggest concern would be ANY rubbing, I just wanna be completely happy with them if I'm gonna spend the money for 35's

Get the 35's. Between 285 and 315 won't be that noticeable trust I've been back and forth with both and I drive 35 miles to work each way everyday. And u are 4wd which gives you a little more clearance. I'm 2wd and clear em with just a 3" level and my tranny and rearend are fine. No need to regear unless for towing a lot or hill climbing.
