Default 315/70/17 on the 4x4

I just need to be sure before I spend the money, will they rub on a xlt 4x4 with a 2.5" lift? Because my turning radius is already pretty tight, idc about trimming, but will it rub anywhere else?

I have 2 inch level and mine don't rub at all. Haven't been offroad yet with them, as I've only had them 2 weeks, but no rubbing so far in normal driving situations. The only rubbing u may have with the stock wheels would be at full turn on the uca's. I didn't trim anything.

Well I'm not sure on the mileage yet as I haven't filled up since getting the new tires, but I did take the truck out when shooting my new gun and there is no rubbing at all even in mild off road situations.

Yea cause I found 315-70-17 bfg all terrains for pretty cheap and 285-70-17 for about $200 less, your honest opinion... Go big?

Ok I know I'm really making a huge deal about this, but one more set of questions, that would really help me make my decision, how far off is your speedo? (I'm not too worried about that) and Have you noticed any issues with the transmission shifting now? (Assuming you don't have a tuner chip)

The smaller size will be much better on gas if that's a concern seeing as how there are predictions of $5+ a gallon coming. Just a thought, but no doubt the 315's will look better

If I were you I would look at a 305/70/17. I have the 285/70/17's and next time I will go with the 305/70/17 which are 34" tires.

Thanks man. Here is a pic with 285/70/17 for comparison. I do have a programmer so not sure how the shift points and speedometer would be without one. Would recommend one though as even with the tires in this pic, the programmer made a difference.
