305x65r18 or 275x70r18 on 2008 f150 Super Crew XLT 5.4L
I have stock rims, 7.5x18 I believe. It has 275x65r18's on it now but I need new tires and would like to upsize a little. I do not have a leveling/lift kit yet but may get one in near future. I was set on getting 275x70r18's since I know they will fit without a lift, but am curious about the 305x65r18's. Will they a) fit on a 7.5" wide rim, and b) fit on my truck without rubbing? Anyone have experience with the 305x65r18's, let me know! Thanks.

Yes. That sticky, found at the top of this forum has several pages of great information on what rims/tire combos fit for any 2004 to 2008 F150 based on model. I very good read for anyone wanting to change their rims/tire sizes.
And don't forget that your speedometer will be off. A good tuner can be used to correct this, or have your cluster re-flashed by a dealership. Purchasing a tuner would be cheaper, and will provide you with more benefits.

i would wait and do a lift or leveling kit and go with 305/12.50/18 they look much better and more aggressive. Trust me youll want a wider tire after your lift anyway so dont bother getting smaller now when your going to wanna change after your lift.
