3000k Off Road Lights
Well I had 6000k in my off road lights but they were cheap flea market HID's that I used to test the retrofit. Well not surprisingly one of the ballasts went out. So I went ahead and decided to try DDM Tuning because of their low prices. I got the 55w 3000k regular ballasts. Since I had already done the retro fit it was as simple as taking out the old bulbs, running the plugs, and putting it back together. I am thrilled with the results. My 6000k's I had in there were extremely bright. I can only describe these as The Sun. Haha. The yellow color makes it easier to see the light farther and it is easier to see black top roads. So now with my 55w 6000k Heads shining in the middle, my 6000k 55w fogs shining wide, and my 3000k 55w KC's shining long there is absolutely nothing that I cannot see.
Daylight Shots. Once I get a chance I will get my digital SLR and get some better shots.

I would not put the 3000k in foglights just because I like the look of the 6000k better. They are a little less BAM when driving down the road and it makes the truck SUPER standout. I would stick to 5000k-8000k for heads and fogs IMO. But the 3000ks are sweet in the off road lights.
