I was planning on going 3" for a deeper sound I dont really want the cackle of 2.5". But if I'm gonna lose some torque I might just leave it stock. Thank you all for the responses!

You can go 2.5 and enjoy the sound of your new exhaust. I asked my mechanic what the difference would be with si/so, si/do. He said no change in sound. I have the warmup cackle too. I just keep my foot out of it when the engine (4.6) is cold.

It will hurt your finances in the long run, as it's against federal law to remove the cats. You cannot sell the truck without them. Anyone that buys the truck from you can come back at you and sue. It's a $30K fine when you get caught.
