Lightbulb 3" Leveling Kit Owners

I purchased 3" autospring coil spacers and I have lift shackles for the rear. They are said to be tappered to keep the control arms from hitting the springs. I know everyone says don't do 3" spacers on these trucks but I want some feedback from some people who did chance it... Does anything hit? Do the parts wear faster than the 2 1/2" spacers???

I also would like to know about this. What all did you give from autospring?

If your 4wd and do the 3" spacer then don't be surprised when your CV boots rip open. The boots harden over the years and once the shaft angle changes it they sometimes tear. Once replaced most people get long life out of them. Just google level lift and cv boots and you'll see all the threads about it. Other than that your going to put extra stress on your ball joints. 3" is a bit extreme in my opinion and you get what you get.

I've had my 3 inch level on for 2 years and have only had 1 problem. A tore cv boot ( but it was right after install so I think it was damaged then ) I occasionally spray all the boots with wd40 to keep them from getting to stiff .. I believe I read somewhere that 3 inch is ok for 2006/2007 only but don't quote me on that .
