Default 3 inch level. Good or Bad?

I am thinking about putting a 3 inch level on my truck. I have a level already but want to clear 35's without a suspension lift. I've heard mixed reviews of the 3 inch lift. Can anyone else put in some input?

What size level are you currently running? And I would strongly advise against stacking levels.

With a 2.5" level you will be able to clear 35's with some trimming.

I've heard some good things about the 3" with a 1" block in the back to keep it level. That said, I've also heard that the 3" will pull everything out of geometric specs and put unnecessary wear on your UCAs, ball joints, U joints, and CV joints. I've also heard of people running a 3" level and not having ANY issues. I guess it's hit or miss.
