Not trying to hi-jack the thread. But I have an 05 4x4 and I was going to level it 2.5". My question is, for me to fit 35" tires, would I have to go with the 3" or would the 2.5" suffice? Some product sites like daystar and ready lift say that a 2" on a 04-08 4x4 will recommend 35's and they say that a 2" on a 04-08 2wd will recommend 33's. I'm getting conflicting reports and before I spend my money, I want to buy the right parts. In the end I want to fit 35's and I just don't know whether to purchase 2", 2.5", or 3". Someone please send me in the right direction. Thanks

best to go with the 3". While the 2" can fit 35s you're limited to which kind of tire. Whith the 3", you can fit pretty much any 35 under there. It just gives you more options. The 3 doesn't cost much more than the 2 so why not?
