SickF1fifty.... I like the truck man. The Pro Comp Stage 1 is what I've been planning. You got any idea what the difference realy is on the Stage 2?
Also, I was wondering... did you specifically choose 18x9 Motos instead of 18x10 because the 10's would have rubbed? Or will a 10" rub on that 6" lift with those Motos?
You got any more pics you can post? I'd like to see a head-on shot of your tire stance. Thanks for the info man.

505f150... I like that 3" look too. Your truck is got a nice clean level look. What type/brand is your 3"? And did you have anything added to the rear?

Hy SickF1fifty... is there a reason why you have 2 different type tires from front to back? Do you rub at all on those 9" wide rims?

No I have no rubbing issues at all. I didnt know they made a 18x10 or else I would have gotten them. I like a nice wide tire stance. The difference between a stage 1 and 2 is the coil overs and the shocks that you get. I didnt get the coil overs and I got the basic gas shocks from Pro Comp for the rear only.

The reason for my 2 different tires is that I cant afford to buy 4 new ones right now. I get free used tires so im just riding on what I get for now which would be 35x13.50 mickey thompson MTZs in the rear and 35x13.50 pro comp ATs in the front.

and the stage 2 kit has adjustable coilovers if its like the 4wd stage 2. that means you can crank the front up so you would have an 8in. lift.

Don't really know what a "coilover" is but it sounds like a benefit. So if you can cank them up to gain 2 more inches in the front, does that mean the rear is actually at about 8" while the front is at 6" without crank? Can you explain the coilover for me buddy?
Thanks for the input. Keep it commin'

In the front of our trucks 04+ we have a shock and a coil spring all in one called a strut. Anyone correct me if im wrong. A coilover is an entirely new shock/strut/coil spring that is alot better than the factory ones that we are given. They are adjustable so they can crank the front up 2 more inches for a total of 8 in the front. Since the rear is already higher than the front at factory they usually give you a 3 inch block or add a leaf to compensate which is only about 3 inches. So if you crank the front up you might want a bigger 5 inch block or a combo of add a leaf and block to make the truck level.

On my kit which is a stage 1 they gave me a 6 inch spacer that sits on top of my factory strut which is a cheap alternative to buying the stage 2 and getting a brand new assembly.

yeah the adjustable coilovers are pretty much just a new shock that you can tighten a big nut and the bottom of the spring on them to raise the truck up to 2 more inches higher. the lifts stage one and two only come with stuff for the rear to make it level at 6in.s so if you wanted to make it 8 then you would have to get an add-a-leaf or a 2in. inch or so bigger block for the rear.
