Default 2V or 3v 4.6???

Hello all.
Im new to the forum and recently bought a 08 f150 stx 4x4. I've been looking around at some goo fast goodies and saw there was 2v and 3v options... How can i tell what motor i have? Is there a certain digit in the vin that will tell me?

F150's got the 2v. Mustang's got the 3v.

Best bang for your buck on this motor is a programmer. I have an edge evo that I converted into a PHP gryphon best thing I did to mine

Also, 09-10 trucks had a 3v option.

But your 08 has a 2v for sure.
