I already told you I ran a wider tire than what you want to run with no UCA rubbing what so ever... your good with a 295... the 65 may rub plastic parts.. I'm running a 295 now with no UCA rubbing...got it ?? we have the same truck's...

I have a 4x4, it rubbed the upper control arms with out the 1/4" wheel spacers. Its cause the rugged sidewall plays in affect with how wide the tire is too.

Mine is a 2007 ford f150 4x4 Lariat super crew 5.4L with 295/55/20 nitto trail grapplers and stock wheels and yes i had to put 1/4" wheels spacers on to not rub my upper control arms before i did the rugged side wall would clip it. and yes i have a 3" leveling kit. you may be getting tires the dont have as rugged of a sidewall but with mine i had to in order not to touch.

Could it be the 3" leveling kit putting the UCA at a severe angle?

Lol...I have an 08 FX4 and ran both 305/55/20 and 295/65/20 with a 2.5" skyjacker level ...that's a 12.4 wide BFG KM2 and a Nitto Trail Grappler M/T that is 12' wide on stock FX4 wheels +44 offset ....no rubbing of the UCA what so ever...so maybe has something to do with the 3" level.. and both tire's have very aggressive side wall's...

Now that could play in effect as to why i was rubbing but i've had it on there for about 6 months and havent had any problems. Everybody's truck is not exactly the same. Fx4 is different from lariat 4x4 so maybe he wont rub but mine rides perfectly fine, just rotated rotated my tires about 3 weeks ago and still no issues with it.

Naw...same trucks... packages are different...it's the 3" level...got to be...makes sense cause you only needed a 1/4" spacer to fix it.

Well good for you bro! They also changed the body style up from 07 to 08 so that could play a part in it too and the Fx4 wheels are different from the lariat wheels so idk. All i was doing was putting in my input.
