So I've been thinking bout getting rims ect. but with my pay I decided to just get some nice tires...

Would 285/65-18 Trail Grapplers work on my stock 18 in. rims? Keep in mind my truck is comlpetly stock level wise and its 2WD.

you might want to check the fitment guide
https://www.f150forum.com/f4/tire-wh...04-08-a-24510/

a 285/65/18 is equivalent to a 32.58 inch tire but call it 33 inch... i have a 285/70/17 (about 33" as well) on my 4wd model and i don't have any problems

a 285 is about 11.2" wide

No they wont fit. 275/65-18 come stock on the FX4s i think. 31s are the max you can fit, on a non level 2wd, 33s on a leveled 2wd.

Okay so it says with my 2WD I can fit 31's, but with the leveling kit I can fit the 33's (I would definetly rather not get a level kit), but with the 2.5" level kit, when I tow the boat am I going to be sagging? And do I need to get any other parts other than the actual level kit (I would go with the Hell Bent Steel)

When you tow your nose will ride high depending on the weight. Im sure towing a boat it would, but its not like you'll tow the boat 24/7. And the other question, no you dont need to order anything else, the kit comes with everything you need, but get the steel 2.5" kit, not the aluminum.

Well 285/65-18s are 32.5s so they shouldnt fit with no issues on a stock 2wd

F150Sport did you do any trimming? Cause if I can get em to fit with out a lift that would be amazing, but from what FSU said, and the fitment guide the shouldnt work.... I go thru some ****tbad roads back home when I go hunting, fishing so I dont want to have rubbing goin on if I hit a deep pothole.

Yes your tail will be sagging. I recently saw a f150 (04-08) with a leveling kit towing a 4 wheeler on a rinky dink trailer. The truck looked like SH**! That Definitely made my mind up on a leveling kit.Now I know people dont tow everyday but i know a truck is not supposed to sit like that while hauling anything. I went on a camping trip in April with a predicted high chance of rain, we completely filled my 6.5' bed to the brim with stacked (not thrown in) dry, cut firewood. I didn't put a level on it but my bone stock 4x4 06 screw looked exactly level. I was highly impressed because i did 75 mph the whole 3 hour trip and that was a heavy load. Just my 2 cents, but do what makes you happy

My truck is a stock (FX2) truck with no level kit or anything else for that matter. The tires are Hankook DynaPro's and I love 'em. As far as I know they fit great with no rubbing. I had Discount tire install them and had them check them before the mounted all 4 and they said that there was no fitting problems and I shouldn't rub. I haven't noticed any rubbing and I've had them for a few weeks now. I can go out and check to make sure but as far as I know, I do not have any rubbing problems. If I were you, I would check these tires out, I love 'em and I say "Go BIG or go HOME!"
