22" Rims for 2006 F150 Lariat, Screw - What Offset?
So, I just spent the last week researching and looking into Custom Chrome Alloy Wheels (I had no idea that there were so many????) for my 2006 F150 Lariat, Screw. I'm definitely settled on 22" x 9.5" Rims. I'm going with the XD Series by KMC or TIS 07 but I'm confused about 4 things:
1. My Current Stock Wheel
a. 20" x 8.5" (Offset is 35mm I think......is this correct?)
b. Tires are Pirelli Scorpion ATR P275/55 R20
2. XD - Hoss Rims ($379.95 per Rim at www.wheelsforless.com)
a. 22" x 9.5" (Offset's Available are 0mm and 30mm)
3. TIS 07 Rims ($523.00 per Rim at www.wheelsforless.com)
a. 22" x 9.5" (Offset is 30mm)
4. Tires
b. Choice 1 is Pirelli Scorpion Zero Asimmetrico P275/45VR22 ($228/tire at www.tirerack.com
c. Choice 2 is Pirelli Scorpion Zero Asimmetrico P305/40ZR22 ($213/tire at www.tirerack.com)
Questions:
a. What is the My Stock 20" x 8.5" Rim Offset.....is it 35mm?
b. If I go wtih XD, what would happen if I selected 0mm Offset......would the wheel "stick" out further from the body?.......would the wheel "stick" in further from the body?.......would I have any rubbing?
c. If I go with 30mm Offset for XD or TIS, it appears that this would be the closest to the Stock Setup (Assuming Offset is 35mm) and Shouldn't have any problems......correct?
d. Any big deal over selecting P275/45VR22 (I saw this wheel on a 2008 F150 Limited......kinda looks like a Harley) versus P305/40ZR22?
