Default 20s to 18s air pressure sensors

If I go to an 18 inch wheel from the factory 20s what do I do with the tire are pressure sensors or would it not make sense to have to buy all new pressure sensors. Should I stick with 20s or go with 18s.

I like the looks of the 20's personally!! But if u change over I don't think u have to buy new sensors!! U gotta bring it to ford dealer and let them reprogram the computer!! That's what I had to do!! I put the rims and tires from my old truck on my new truck because I had just bought the tires but they were both 20's!! My tire pressure light was on!! My ford dealer didn't even charge me for it! They did it in about 5 minutes!!
Hope this helps!

No you don't have to go to the dealer...what year truck do you have ?? if its 07/08 cut the sensor band off each wheel and remove the sensor...buy new bands $80 for 4 they are like real big hose claps...install on new wheels with the sensor at 6 O'Clock from the valve stem...mount new tires and drive about 1/2 mile and bingo your good to go...now if you have an 09/10 you will need to swap the valve stem onto the new wheels and mount your new tires...then drive and bingo...any good tire shop will know this and do it for you..

What you did is used other sensors...if you had swapped them with the ones that came with your truck ...bingo
