Default 2014 Tundra pull-offs

Guys,
I have a 2006 Lariat supercrew 4x4 with 18 inch wheels.

It's time for new tires and if I had the $1000 needed I'd go down and buy a set of Michelin LTX LT275/65R18 M/S2 tires for it, but I'd rather not spend that much money.

So I'm here asking about the OEM Michelin tires that come on the 2014 Toyata Tundra. It's the right size but a P tire. There are several sets of these on the market because guys buying the new trucks are pulling them off and switching to maybe fancy wheels with fancy tires, I don't know.

I can get an almost new set of Michelin P275/65R18 tires pulled off the Tundra for around $350. That's cheap. The question is this. I assume Michelin makes these tires especially for Toyota so they may not have the normal tire designation such as M/S2, A/S, or A/T2 like you'd normally see and I can't find the specs on the Toyota website.

Anyone out there have experience doing this? Am I mking a mistake? Please don't go on and on about Goodyear or other makes because I've definately decided I want Michelins. TIA.

I'm not certain but I believe the tundra's and the f150's are in the same weight class so tires off a tundra would work.

According to Tirerack the 275/65R18 in the Michelin are LTX A/T 2.

I've confirmed with the seller that these are A/T2 tires. Anyone have experience with these on their F150?

I have them on right now. great tire with a 60k miles warranty. If they are regular AT2s (not a specifically made oem tire) they are great.

Some tires have a slightly different tread pattern for different OE Applications but Michelin does not do this on the M/S2 they are all the same.

Update: Guys, this is a smokin deal if you have the 18 inch rims. I purchased these tires from a 2014 Tundra owner and they have about 1k miles on them. The price $350. It was $80 for mounting and balance so my total out the door installed was $430. The ride is great. If you need new tires you can save about 50-60% over Costco if you can find a similar deal.
