my question is will running boards off of a 2013 ecoboost mount up with no problems to my 2007 XLT?

Nope -- they are longer on the new body style.

I put the Running boards of a 2012 on my 2004. If I get a look at the bracket I can tell. When I called Stealership..they had no idea..and said its different part no..hence wont fit. So they were wrong. Have you seen the bracket.?

Just because they are longer don't mean they will not fit...the brackets should be the same...they are for 04-12...did not think they changed the frame on the 13... this is assuming your going from same cab styles..

I had an 08 and a 13 -- I had both steps for sale and a guy showed up with a 10 and wanted my 08 boards. I relocated the bracket with self tapping screws but the boards were really short. He didn't care so I didn't. If it went the other way -- old body style with new body style boards it would look absurd. There was a good 4" of difference in length as I remember. If anyone has done it post pics but I don't think it'll work

Newer ones looked good on my '08. moved some brackets and bolted right up.

Yeah it doesn't look bad -- I envisioned it further forward which would interfere with Turning. I stand corrected The ones I did the other way I thought looked awful
