Default 2010 stock rim compatibility

Hi guys. Question. I have a 2006 f-150 lariat that has the stock chrome rims. The chrome is peeling horribly and is causing issues. Has anyone put stock rims from a 2010/2011 on their 04-08 truck? Do they fit and look good? I found a set at a good price, but won't be able to try them on if I buy them. They are both 18 inch 6 lug wheels, but will they fit my truck the same cosmetically as my stock ones? Does anyone have any pictures of this setup? Couldn't find much on Google. Thanks in advance!

F150's have used the same bolt pattern (6x135) from 2004-present. Offsets are generally +44 (unless from a raptor). Many people on this forum and others have swapped from the 04-08 wheels to the 2009+ wheels. Personally I went from the stock 2004 FX4 18's to 2014 FX4 20's and love the look. But to answer your question, yes, the 2010/2011 18" 6 lug stock F150 wheels you found will bolt up to your truck and fit the same as your current wheels. Assuming the tire sizes are the same it should be a non-issue.

Heres a quick picture I found on google. Not sure if its the same color truck as yours or the same 18" oem wheel (as there were a few choices on the new body styles) but its a start for you. Maybe some members that have swapped factory 18's will comment.

I think the thread size on the studs changed at some point, not sure when.
Worst case, you would need new lugnuts.
