Blowtorch I don't how you figured I was being rude. If you got your panties bunched up over my rebuttle to your post then so be it. I don't care. You were rude and out of line saying dyno tuning is for people chasing numbers. That is simply not true and if a person is using the dyno for that purpose then it's a shame. I do not have "tooner" buddies and I despise the people who have the software and a dyno with which to tune but are hardly qualified to tune. There are plenty of those guys around building **** poor tunes and it's a shame.

I am not against street tuning and as I stated above any reputiable tuner is going to drive the vehicle on the street and finish tweaking the tune. Street tuning has it's place just as dyno tuning does. There are areas of the tune that cannot be legally data logged on a public road due to speed limits. Most anyone who supercharges a vehicle is going to run the quarter mile with it at the local drag strip so the tune must be written to cover all driving conditions from idle to redline in any gear. The tuner (JDM) I reccomended above is one of the best Ford tuners in the country. And they have the data logs from the street, strip, and dyno tuning to write a tune thats pretty much spot on. And they will make sure your vehicle is tuned perfectly before you leave. Thats why Saleen has them write their tunes and why I recommended to them to the OP because they will take care of him. Mike Troyer is also pretty spot on but is the best when it comes to the Roush setup.

That being said it didn't bother me that you disagreed with me. But post #16 was a pitaful post and imo not the least bit helpful or imformative. I am not always right nor do I think I know everything but I do know how to make these trucks scream. And I don't know what you were trying to prove with your resume of modding for 30 years and being a member of 5 forums. I care about that about as much you like my signature.

Like talking to a sign post A lot of ego for 1500 post, and the last thing I care about is impressing you.
BTW; 12.7 is not "screaming" out in the "real world"

For a bone stock motor and a 5600lb truck 12.7 is darn good. Nice to see your only comment on my entire post is a sad attempt to insult me. What's wrong? No further knowledge to prove your point or prove what I said invalid?

OP; I apoligize for inadvertently highjacking your thread and getting it off point. You received good advice, and maybe a few more will join in with solutions
BS, or BF, if you have anything else to say to me, you can do it in a PM or better yet, drive down to GA and we can discuss it. I will no longer distract from this thread.
Sorry again to the OP. It's members like this that ruin forums for everyone else

Whatever Blowtorch. You made a blanket statement about dyno tuning that's simply not true then attacked my signature, my truck, and me. I haven't ruined any forum any where. I may have ruined your day but I'm ok with it.

Slider750 I can't wait to see the results of your build. You will be smiling from ear to ear when you hit the loud pedal on your sc'd beast. These Whipple blowers are really something and with a custom tune it is unbelievable.

believe it or not the only reason i put on the blower, is I also own a 2011 ram sport with a 5.4 hemi, and let me tell you those are rated factory 390 hp to the fly wheel but that thing is a rocket when you step on the loud petal, its fun, so....my personal truck 2008 f150 harley, ive had for over 2 years just had no *****, it is also a awd version, I then added the 26's wheels, now defiantly no *****, so i had to do something so the solution for starters was a whipple supercharger. now this is the first blower of any sorts ive ever purchased always wanted one so my truck only had 80,000 km on it so i figured why not this is as good of a time than any....as i was waiting for the kit to come in, really started to read up on the forums on tunes ect...and just about everyone said the whipple tune sucks....ya they were right, for that money i put out ( even more in Canada ) needed more power that tune down right sucks so i took some advice from Blown Ford and Jdm and upgraded to 47 lb injectors was going to do 39lb but the newer and cheaper ones are 47lb and jdm had a tune for them so thats the route I'm taking for now. I got jdm to right me 2 tunes one for summer and one for winter....and yes i do drive it in the winter
