2008 Harley F150 LIFT?????? HELP
Ok so Ive had my 2008 Harley Davidson F150 (2wd) for about 2 years now and kept it pretty much stock except for smoked cab lights, bed cover, etc. I've always wanted to lift my truck, nothing too high, just to give it a mean stance (like the raptor). Thought about leveling it but a 6in lift would be nice. I heard that since my truck is 2wd, it will look like a 4in lift (fine with me). Is that true? I would also like to bring the tires out a bit horizontally with spacers and put bushwacker flares. I really want that mean slightly wide and aggressive stance that lifted trucks have. Nothing for offroad, mainly just looks. I DONT want to do a body lift. A 3in level is still in consideration (3in front then 1.5in back). And i would definitely put 35in tires if i can fit them, if not then just 33s. And ill keep the factory 22s. Im still debating what to do......... lift or level
So does anyone have any pictures of 2wd f150s lifted/leveled? More escpecially a Harley lifted?? I really would like to see how other peoples trucks turned out! I know people tell me WHY LIFT IT? ITS A HARLEY! Well because i want ground clearance!!! I dont like low trucks, mine has that forward drop with the butt higher than the front and it looks cool, but I really like the lifted truck look. So post any pics of your 2wds leveled/lifted or lifted harleys! or if you have any suggestions, pointers, or advice please post it!

Man there are plenty of lifts you can look at for your truck. I personally like fabtech but it's all brand preference really. And a six inch lift will get you enough Clearance to run 35's no problem. Also the wider stance is better achieved by a negative offset wheel. I have no pics of a 2wd lifted truck cause mine is 4x4. But someone on here will chime in soon cause everyone likes to show off their trucks.

Buster096 Thanks!! I really like the Fabtech lifts and BDS. What do you mean by "negative offset"? Im new to this. haha. I thought it was all just wheel spacers and such.

Negative offset determines the amount of back spacing you have an how far your tries will stick out past your fenders. I have -12mm offset which puts me at 4.5" backspace and my tires stick out about 2". The more negative you go the more your tires will stick out. You don't want a super extreme offset tho because it causes increased strain on your drivetrain components.

If you look at a wheel offset calculator you will be able to tell how far out the wheels will stick out. The more negative the offset the farther out your wheels will be. If you are just looking for ground clearance the 3" level with 1.5" blocks will still allow for 35" tires and be a lot cheaper then a 6". Mine is not a Harley or even a super crew but here is a picture with the 2.5" rough country level and 35"s then one with 6" fabtech and 35"s.
Also IMO I would stay away from spacers not to sure what other people think just my .02
