2008 FX2 SCREW Premium Audio with Sub
Hey all,
I'm in the process of pulling the stock head out of my truck and I wanted to make sure I'm not on crack.
There is no factory amp in the system right ? (with the exception of the built in amp in the SUB). I'm planning on still using the speaker wires from the dash to the doors for the door speakers but I don't want to risk putting my amplified signals into another hidden amp
I was really sure there wasn't but what has me concerned is the aftermarket harness adapter for the 2nd connector has the 2RCA's for the sub and not 1 but 2 wires that I'm supposed to tie to my amp trigger out of my aftermarket deck...
Can anyone confirm ?

If you "mosey" on over to the AUDIO/STEREO forum, you'll find that it addresses these issues more so than here.
Not to say someone will chime in. Matter of fact, there is a thread here right now about the wiring of the factory subwoofer (Audiophile). Here's that link:
