I have an 08 F150 with manual heat and air controls. The blower is only working on setting 4. Looking an opinion of is it just a switch issue and if it is a common occurrence? Also, the recommended fix!

Blower motor resistor. When they fail that's what happens.

+1 on bad resistor, it's a cheap and easy fix.

Blower motor resistor definitely.. I have a good one and would trade it one for one with you ( i just need the resistor to plug the hole it fits into in the heater box because I did a Auto air swap)

I would go to autozone and buy an aftermarket one. I think they even have one that has a lifetime warranty on it. I think the dealership only gives 3 months...
