Cost to just redo this part of my exhaust

I like the way my truck sounds its just I don't like where my tips are

Plus they are old and ***** colored.
So I was thinking about doing my tips strait out the back and it looks really easy

Just cut off the piping right there

And weld another pipe going straight back then put the tip on

I don't have welding equipment nor do I know how to weld so what do you think a shop would charge to do this for me.

Are you going to do duals straight out the back?

Cost, I wouldn't expect more than $200 MAX!

From where you are wanting to cut it there just isn't a lot of material needed nor much bending required.

Yeah dual straight out the back and I'm probally going to buy my own tips got a good deal on the tips I want

Well if you want to do duals they will have to cut further back and that means more material and more bends so that will run up the price. If you go to a muffler shop they will give you a quote.

I guess I forgot to mention this it allready has duals on both sides

And my dad paid $350 from the shop in town for muffler and dual exhaust on his truck

Ahh okay I thought you had a single with dual tips on the end on just the driver side.

Yeah then for what you are wanting I wouldn't pay any more than $200 and I'd question paying that.

For that simple of a job is should only cost around $100
