i am currently trying to obtain the factory subwoofer/amp combo that comes with the upgraded sound packages. i have the factory cd player with sirius (not audiophile.) Will the subwoofer/amp plug into my factory cd player, or will i have to buy the audiophile cd player as well?

It has to be the audiophile cd player to plug in the sub. If you pull your radio lookat the back to see if there are 3 connector and an antenna connector, the sub plugs into the small one.

BTW you can find the SUBs on eBay most of the time.

I have the 6 disc and not the audiophile system in my truck and for around $200 your best bet is to go to eBay and buy the Saleen F150 Rockford Fosgate sub/amp package that fits in the exact same place as the stock system, its 150 watts and I have one, it really makes the stock system sound much, much better, best mod to the radio you can do, its basically plug n play too, all the needed wirinf harnes comes with it, super easy.

thanks bayou! i was bidding on a factory sub setup but was outbid yesterday. ill check it out. i guess i need to search for a audiophile unit as well to plug it in..
