Default 2008 f150 upgrade

Hey Guys,

I have 2008 F150 and i'm wondering if the newer models(09-14) parts will fit on my 08 model. Specifically the front grill and tailgate. Let me know what you think. Thanks !

I know the entire rear bed swaps over fine. But the tailgate would have body lines that wouldn't match your older bed.

For the front, you would need to replace all the front clip, but everything should bolt up. But I doubt just the grill would fit.

Correct. If I rememeber right the whole front end will bolt on but gotta do it all together. Hood, headlights, grill, bumper, and fenders. None will line up without the rest.

I've seen someone with a 09 tailgate on a 04 body. Doesn't line up right, but looks like it fits just fine

Wow that's a really good bit of info to know, as I'm basically replacing my entire front end. I'm having visions of a FrankenFord now lol

Why are you trying to switch the body to a different gen of truck?
