Not going to lie I was just looking into that. I think that is a good option. If it don't work I don't want it there so that could work

There is an entire post on this in the stereo section. Did you even read the description in the ad? The ad even says it WILL NOT retain rear entertainment....and that it is to retain the factory aux input.

I want a 2700 like that. Think I will buy myself one for Christmas. If I'm not mistaken the 2700 is the one that you can customize the screen on. Again Summers is killing me with that ford background on this stereo so now I gotta have one.

Yep, that's the right plug -- no idea that existed. You'd just need the RCA to stereo adapter to go into your head unit. Problem solved.

Yes it does say on the site it is for retaining factory aux input. This is probably what I will go with. Then that plug will work for some reason I ever need it again.
