Default My muffler situation

Hey guys I hate to bring up another exhaust topic but what I want to know just isnt covered. Im fairly knowledgable about our trucks and work in garage but I just dont know the answer to this. I recently bought a new to me 04 Lariet and got rid of my 99'. I installed true duels on that truck but my new one I just want to do a muffler swap. Is there any company that makes a muffler with a aggressive tone that will fit my factory pipe. I just want to drop my muffler out and slide a new one in, maybe add some pipe if needed to fill space but are there any that fit are tube size so I dont have to order pipe

Im not sure if your muffler is the same as mine. But on my 06 stx the muffler was like 4 ft long and 2 ft around. I dont even know why FORD made one this big and gotty. Chances are you can find the right offset, and just add 2' of pipe. Not sure if they make an aftermarket bolt on replacement.

I used a Flowmaster Super 44 with about 2ft extra pice of pipe welded on. Slips right into the stock location, I welded mine in, but with the right adaptors it can be clamped on. I didnt use the hangers from the stock muffler and havent had any issues.

What diameter pipe do I need, I will just get one and weld it on seeing as we have several welders and weld shop tools on hand. Im just curious to what you used since we have 2.5" in and 2.75 out stock

Id have to measure. I put pipe in the front and mounted the muffler straight to the tail pipe. (I think )
