2007 XLT blackout project
#12
I had to buy new 3/8" bolts to mount the front bumper because the clips were damaged when removing them. The Line-x added about an 1/8th of an inch to the bumpers so it was a really snug fit getting them back together.
I am going to figure out what I need to order so I can tackle the HID project. I am going to get an after market set of headlights so I don't feel so bad about hacking them up. I love the recon's but I am not looking to spend that much money. Black housing with led's or those halo rings would be cool. I ordered the kit from HIDnation.

Thanks man. great looking truck yourself. It cost me $150 per bumper to have them line-x'ed. I planned on painting them myself with bedliner and I attempted it but made a huge mistake when I put the last coat. I accidentally bought an undercoating that had a very similar looking spray can as the bedliner so the last coat ended up being undercoating and it looked terrible. By the time I noticed it was the wrong can it was too late.

Done quite a bit to the truck recently. Just about all the way blacked out on the outside. Recently my focus has been on the inside.
Pioneer Avic x920bt and not seen Kicker 6 X 8 Speakers
Removed the Jump seat and ground out the entire frame to make room for a box where the jump seat previously was. Everything will bolt together and go right back where it came from.
The set up. The entire thing is going to be made to look as close to stock as possible. I should get it back from getting wrapped tomorrow.

Let me know if you have any questions. I had my windows tinted about a month ago and became friends with the owner of the place. I am a personal trainer so I worked out a deal with the owner for unlimited carwashes/detail and install of anything I need in exchange for training. It has been a great deal so far. He has helped me design and build everything so far.

look around at jc whitney they have a bunch of nerf bars on there, or a junk yard sometimes they have trucks that have been totaled and still have the side steps on them and they are still good, OR spend the money and go through ford... i found mine at jc whitney and paid $200 for them with free shipping and got them in 3 days and had them installed by my self in less than an hour.
