Default 2007 swap 5.4 to 4.6

Looking for some information, have a 2007 F 150 thinking about swapping to a 4.6 LT. I do understand ECM, exhaust, and trans need to be changed in that year. For some reason 2007 they switched the starter to drivers side on the 4.6.
The reasoning for the change is cost and the truck has 269,000 km.
Putting 3,000 dollars into a used motor with a trans with 269,000 doesn't sound like a good idea. The 4.6 is around 1,000.00 with low milage and trans would be about 700.00. Is there any thing else could crop up that I am not aware of?

Links are no good, I live in Canada the best price I can get at trade cost is 4,000.00
I Have a had time putting 4,000.00 in to a 2007 and worrying about trans going.

I'm guessing you would need to swap the ECM as well as the wiring harness. Also the 4.6 is equipped with an egr where as the 5.4 3v isn't. Just my opinion but I would imagine it would be a headache and much more expensive than just swapping in a reman 5.4.

from what I understand ECM, engine comes with harness, trans comes with harness. Front pipe would also need replaced. Cost of used 5.4 3000.00
Rebuilt 4,000.00. Cost of 4.6 900.00 78,000 km trans 800.00 ECM 75.00
Exhaust 200.00. Just inquiring has anyone done a swap?
What other things to look out for?
Anything else would need to replaced?
