Auto Door Locks
My 2008 F150 has the auto door locks that lock at a relatively low speed, and the drivers door unlocks upon removing the key.
Is there a way to program both front doors to unlock, or maybe all four doors to unlock, upon turning the ignition off.
Thanks,

If you have the little information screen on the dash you go through it and it gives the option to turn off
I don't believe you can get them all to unlock when you remove the key not positive

You are out of luck.
Ford won't let us change the unlock program. All we can do is pick if we want the doors to lock automatically. Unfortunately we can't even make all the doors unlock when we hit the remote door lock. That drives me crazy.
If you look in the owners manual it explains how to customize a bit.
If anyone has a solution to this I am all ears

The way my locks work now is that all four lock when in drive, and get to just over 5 mph.
When stopping, and the key is removed from the ignition, the drivers door unlocks. If I remember to, I hit the unlock button on the door panel once and the remaining three unlock.
If only I could remember to hit the unlock button every time. I sometimes get out and try to open a rear door. Still locked.
On my previous truck, a GMC, the manual gave the instructions for reprogramming the locks. BUT, I am not driving a GMC now.
Does anyone know if the dealer can reprogram the locks?

The deactivation method is in the owners manual.
If you have the computer type Screen in the lower right hand corner of your gauges it is done through there
If you don't, there is a key on and off sequence to deal with.
Just read the manual

But apparently this is not some ironclad Ford rule. For a variety of reasons, I have ended up with three Fords in my driveway these days. 2006 Focus, only the driver's door unlocks when you turn the key off. 2007 Edge, reprogrammed per the owner's manual to open all 4 doors with key off and driver's door is opened. 2008 SCREW, only the driver's door unlocks. So what do the truck guys have in common with the Focus folks, but not with the Edge target market? Pickups had a Lincoln version too....
