2007 new
Hi all
As I have mentioned in a previous post, I have just bought an 07 bare bones regular cab 5 speed with a V6. It only has 17,500 km or 10,874 miles on it.
I think the motor is a 4.2. Are there any issues I should be aware of with this motor?. I am not too familiar with it.
My old truck, totaled last week, was a 98 XLT 4x4 4.8 V8 and I went through the cracked exhaust manifold issues and it tended to eat bakes and rotors. Those brake rotors were very hard to get off. Otherwise great reliable truck, I will miss it.
So I am asking for any info on what to be aware of mechanically wise, as to know issues.
I now have a clean slate of a truck to play with and improve and modify, looking forward to it.
