Truck looks great all around. Glad you've got the tint coming to finish off the look.
Now since you stated you like a little chrome for accent, then put the nerfs on. If you wanted the complete black look, then I'd say leave them off or buy some black nerfs.
Anyways, the truck is awesome!

Looks awesome!!! I took my bars off... i think it sorta makes it look a little higher.. but am thinkin about some new nerf's..lol. don't know what I'm doin I guess...

They are EGR OEM flares and they cover the tires perfectly. I didn't want the flares to dwarf the tires, like some I have seen. With the factory flares my wheels stuck out 1 1/2"-2". My wheels have 4.5" backspace, so the tires were out.
