I'm a new owner of an '07 FX2, 5.4l with towing package and 3:55 LS. The suspension is OEM. Did this model come with lower (shorter?) suspension than the other 2WD F150s?

I've considered raising the front end an inch or two for a little more ground clearance off road rather than removing the lower air dam and running boards.

Any off road driving would just be on dirt roads during hunting season. A bad rut could be trouble with the low front bumper and boards.

Love the truck and got a screaming deal on it. The dealer still hates to see me coming around.
