2007 front axle shafts
My 2007 FX4 drips what appears to be oil at the union of the front axle half shafts to the differential. It drips on both sides and does not appear to be from the axle seals.
I have been told that the grease in the CV joints may separate, and drip out of the bolted union to the axles, when the weather is hot. Has anyone had this experience? It has been at or near 100 for the last month or so.
I bought the truck new, and it has only 4,500 miles on it.
