It's possible the key encryption is not registering. Do you have a spare key you can try?

If you have a multimeter, have someone turn the key to start, and see if the starter signal wire is getting a signal at all.

Ahh, I didn't think about that. I'll do that tomorrow and let you know.

I have a rough idle. When I come to a stop the motor sounds like this, and sometimes stalls out. But drives great. If I'm at idle, and I tap the gas a little it goes back to normal idle, then if I tap the gas a little again, it will be rough again. Any ideas? It's a real problem. Here's a video of what it sounds like

I remember another member on this site found that he had a rough idle after the same phaser and timing change, he found that he still had air in his coolant and had not filled it up completely or bled the cooling system. I am pretty sure that after he did that, idle smoothed out. Something to check.
Also, did you change any lash adjusters, I thought I heard a couple in this video.
Good luck
Tom

Lifters are called lash adjusters in our engines. The Followers go on top of the lash adjusters and have a roller on them that the cam lobes turn on. Mine were bled down and would not hold pressure therefore causing a metallic tap that is commonly heard when oil is low.

Well I switched to 15W-40 oil(going by about 10 Ford master mechanics suggestions) and all noises and taps and misfires went away, oil pressure is good. And it runs good. NOW, I got the code p0926, (P0926 - Gear Shift Reverse Actuator Circuit Low) and I can't find any info on it. Think you can help me out. It's shifting really weird, taking off very slowly. Acting really strange. Could this cause it?
