2007 Radio change
Hello, looking to buy a radio upgrade for my 2007 F150. Will a upgraded radio that fits into a 2007 expedition XLT be a direct swap for my 2007 F150 XLT Super Cab. Any special plugs or harness required. Thanks for your help

The connectors are pretty close ... Where my concern is, I can't tell you if the Can-bus needs anything programmed (I don't think it does). The stereo still has analog wiring in our trucks but I know on my Fusion the higher-end stereo package has an amp for the speakers and it's over the digital bus that runs that.
I've attached the connectors from both the 07 F150 and the 07 Expedition. I can't guarantee it'd work though! They're very close. My main concerns are:
- Connector 1 on the F150 has pins 2 + 3 as Accessory (and delay) and 3 as Illumination, the expedition don't show these. My guess is this is controlled over the Can-bus (similar to my fusion again...) - This *could* be an issue
- Connector 2 on the F150 have nothing for the pins 11/12 (I can't say whether the wires are there or not or even connect anywhere, you may have to add them).
Otherwise, they're pretty close! My main worry is you plug it in and it doesn't turn on due to it using the can-bus. I had fun with this in my Fusion because I didn't want the deck running during remote start for three reasons: 1. Music plays for no reason, 2. if my phone is in Bluetooth range, it rings there, 3. if my Bluetooth phone is out of range, it doesn't always pair when I come into range. I could not disable the deck from running. The other thing that runs through the Can-bus is language settings and such now, the Fusion (can't say about the Expedition) allows programming the language through the cluster which changes it on the radio as well. On my fusion, I ended up going aftermarket and solved my remote start issue haha. I did the same on my F150.
