2007 F150 Radio into 2005 F150
I've checked several posts both here and on other forums and haven't been able to find what I'm looking for. If I missed something and you have a link then that's all I need.
My friend gave me his dash tray with aux input, and his entire head unit when he upgraded his head unit. I want to put them into my truck and be able to use the aux input since mine doesn't have that capability.
Unfortunately I can't buy the harness for the aux jack separately from the main harness and his is tied into the main harness so we can't remove it. I can get the jack and a couple inches of the wires and the connector and a couple inches of wire on that end. I haven't found a diagram for the secondary connector on the truck radio or any info on rewiring the jack and connector myself.
If anyone has any info or could point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated. I've been searching the web for three days and can't find anything about this specifically.
Just to be clear, I don't need a PIE or any other adapter, I'm not trying to hook up to my 2005 radio. I have the 2007 radio installed already and it works just fine, I just need a way to wire the factory aux input into the radio. Or I can install an aftermarket aux jack into the dash tray, I just can't find any info on wiring into the radio. Thanks in advance.

From what I know about my 2007 radio that I took out years ago. It should have a spot on the back of the radio itself that the aux port plugs into. I don't ever recall it plugging into the main harness.
