Default 2007 F150 crew cab

Need some help.
I have the opportunity to purchase a 2007 F150 Crew lariat with 45000 miles on it. I have not owned a Ford before my 2014 purchase. I see a lot of problem posts for this year range. Looking for some things to look for or known issues with this year truck. I heard the spark plugs suck getting them out. I appreciate the help. Depending what is replied I would like to look at it Saturday.

Would definitely get those spark plugs swapped out. With 45,000, it's probably still on the factory 2 pieces. They can become a costly issue.

Truck looks amazing. Long bed and color matched handles is sweet.

There is a build date, sometime in october, I believe, where the plug design was changed on the 07s.

Damn man that is a nice looking ride! I wish I had the 6.5" box. Only 45k miles wow. Get plugs changed, fuel filter, check FPDM, listen for wierd noises at startup and after warm up. But really these trucks rock, had some quirks but they sold a billion of them oh yeah oil changes every 3k with motorcraft filter and good 5w-20 or 30 is important.

All; thanks for your replies. Dealer advised the build date was June 2007. truck is still there getting ready for delivery to me. I just found out they did a trans flush and filter free and put new brakes on for me. This truck is as clean as my 2014. There is no rust at all under the truck. The inside is great. The driver side does not even seem to have worn at all (leather). I also just found out that the rear sliding window is power. Geez I am not used to all the bells. I thought my STX was fancy.

Can the plugs be replaced with standard plugs?
