Mine is a 05/04 fx4 but also how you know if the hubs or bearings are bad well one way atleast is you jack the truck up and wiggle the tire left and right there should not be any play or movement.

Me too..same ole problem with my 07 xl.I had the left side bearing hub rotor assy. replaced on wed. drove it home with a smile on my face..no grinding & scraping. it set in the carport till sat. & I started to run down town for a while..didn't get 2 miles till it started the same old sh#!.
I came back home looking like Barney Fife when he bought his first car.I'm gonna replace the right side next week & hope for the best.
