Yes, it's the oil pressure sending unit. I do not have a part number. The mechanic replaced it. Sorry!

I also realized my truck is idling at about 750 rpm now instead of 500-600 rpm

I hope my ticking noise is lose spark plug #8, i replaced all 8 just about 500miles ago/7months
did not use torque wrench.

Default Spark plug #6 it was :)
Spark plug 6 in my case it was...was strugling to get cop boot out!
Now engine nice and smooth!

Isnt the oil pressure sending unit on the outside of the engine block? OP stated above that the mechanic "dropped the pan" to replace the o-ring. Im just wondering what they replaced an o-ring on? oil pump maybe?? Just thinking out loud, either way im glad he resolved his issue!
