Default 2006 ticking

Can anyone tell me what this ticking noise is? Ive read all the searches but idk what each problem sounds like? The dealership told me "they all make this sound and is nothing harming the motor, dont mess with it" but it just doesn't seem like an okay noise. It only does it on start up and will fade away but comes back when i accelerate...

Sounds like an exhaust leak. While not a catastrophic problem, it is one I'd get fixed. Apparently our trucks have a habit of cracking manifolds. If it would make you rest easier take it to a shop and ask them to hunt down the leak. New headers and a full exhaust are spendy but at least you are getting an upgrade out of fixing a problem.

Source: my truck makes the exact same noise with a cracked passenger manifold. I'll be replacing my headers with OBX stainless Long Tubes.

I second the exhaust leak. With an opening for air to get into the front of the exhaust, more moisture will accumulate, which is what the liquid coming out is. Normally with the only place for outside air and moisture to get in being the tail pipe, not much gets in. And by the way, War Eagle!

Thanks so much for the replies, I'll take it to the local muffler shop to let them have a look at it.
