So instead of starting a whole bunch of little post I am just going to throw everything that's wrong with the truck in to one post. Hopefully this will turn in to a build thread with all the things that I want to do with the truck but I am working with a broke college student’s bank account.

The Truck:
2006
F-150
Fx4
5.4
Crew Cab
5.5 Foot bed.

The problems:

The truck burns oil (I am just going to add oil to it as needed)

Cant find the door code unlock (I know where to find it)

The radio seek forward button doesn’t work

New windshield

The black piece that goes on the side of the windshield is coming off (it's the one piece that runs from the bottom of the windshield and goes to the back of the cab. Ill post pictures this weekend)

Cow end pieces don't stay in (I have the part and cant get it to stay in)

Paint is pealing on the top of the passenger rear doorframe on the cab.

Rear front pinion seal leak I think. (Had to add about 8 oz of fluid to the diff.)

Plastic fender flares are faded (the stock fx4 ones)

You call an auto glass place and have them do it, I can tell you that. I had mine done in my driveway.....


I don't think that's a job you can do yourself, for the price I'd just get it done. The guy had a special suction cup arm that lowered the glass into place, it would be a BEAST without it......
