2006 Ford F150 XLT Keycode entry quit working
MY key code entry quit working all of a sudden please help! I am kind of an amateur when it comes to fixing vehicles, but with help I can figure it out.

First I would see if you can still lock the doors by pressing the 7/8 & 9/0 buttons at the same time.
If you can't, then check for broken wires.
If you can, you may need to just reset the code. You'll need the master code for that. It's located on the control box ( I forget what it's real name is) mounted underneath the rear window. There are a couple of threads and YouTube videos detailing how to find it.
If the master code doesn't work, but you can lock the doors from the key pad, then the control box wiring harness is either unplugged, or the box itself is bad.
