Default 2006 Ford F150 gear sliding

Hey I just bought a new 2006 Ford F150 with 98000 miles on it. The truck drives really good until you get between 45-55 mph at a slow cruising speed. It feels as if it kicks the whole time and its getting worse. The only way to get out of this is to hit the gas to skip the gear. I took it in to 3 shops including the Chevi dealership I bought it from and no one seems to find what the problem is.THey did every test they could from Ford as well but somehow the truck still shows that its 100%. Lately Ive been told it could be a misfire and I should change all the spark plugs. If anyone know of a situation similar to this and a solution I will be very grateful!

Thanks in advance!

Sounds similar to what happened to my 05 neon i had before the 150. When it shifted into overdrive at low speeds and the rpms would drop low it would jerk. At first I thought it was the tranny but I took it in and they said it was missing so they replaced the plugs and it was fine.

My 08 f150 did this, no lights, checked 100%. Thought it was my trans. Took it to the dealer and a really old EXPERIENCED tech drove my truck and told me it was the coil pack. Replaced it and has never done it again.

You just bought it so start with a good tune up. Change plugs, make sure yo grease the boots, clean throttle body with TB cleaner, clean MAF with MAF cleaner, seafoam intake manifold, change fuel filter, change oil, use motorcfaft oil filter, check/replace FPDM, and add Dr. Tranny's shudder fix (it helps the OD bands grab better). I know it's a lot of work, but you'll rule out all those possible problems.
