Default 2006 f150 wont turn over! help!

As I was driving all of a sudden the radio turns off, and a loud almost grinding sound happened. My abs light came on then the grinding sound stopped and parking brake light came on. I drove another mile to my house. But now it won't crank.

Checked. Those look fine. made ticking sound when turning over. Starter? But that doesn't explain noises while driving the other day.

I'm still thinking you should remove and clean the terminals of the battery.

I have some spray I bought from the local auto store. I use that and a mini wire/synthetic brush for golf clubs actually.

My dad uses water, baking soda, and a toothbrush. But I have found the spray works better and prohibited future build up.

They have tools at any automotive parts store that has wire brushes designed for cleaning the terminals on both the battery and the wiring. They are cheap and a good investment because it's good practice to clean your terminals.

Other than that, you could use sandpaper or an SOS pad or something. Just make the metal shiny again
