2006 f150 rough start
Hi. I'm new here. I have a 06 f150 XLT 4.6L V8 4X4. Every morning when I first go to start my truck up. It idles up and down like it's going to die for about 5 seconds then it run fine. After that it starts perfect every time until the next morning. Then it does the same thing. It had a fram fuel filter on it and I changed that out with a ford motorcraft one thinking that was the problem. Please help it's getting annoying. Thanks

Clean your MAF. It effects idling quite a lot. My old ranger would go up and down like crazy and all I had to do was the clean the MAF and it would be steady. This truck I haven't had that problem because I clean it pretty regularly. Make sure to use electrical contact cleaner that is safe on that sort of component. Use the search to find some How-To's.
And clean throttle body... again, search and you will find all your answers.
After that, maybe look at O2 sensors. They will tell if you're in a closed or open loop and mess up your truck by thinking it is already warmed up.
