Default 2006 f150 lariat just bought slowly doing all maintenance

I bought the truck 2 weeks ago it has 128k on it. Heres what i've done

the customer took car of it before me and babied it from what I can tell

customer replaced plugs with one piece plugs he said the most expensive ones that o'reilly had.

Honestly I'm not going to change them again right now cause they're working fine with no issues. If I have issues I will change them to 2 piece SP-515'S

Has accel coil packs.

My list what i've done so far:

Going to do a oil change with

7 quarts Motorcraft 5w-20 OEM Syn Blend

Oil filter FL820-s filter

Monday I'm changing diff fluids
Rear diff 3 quarts of 75w-140 full sync? 4-8 ounces of Friction modifier

Front diff 80W-90 full sync?

Axel code is b6 so assuming it's LS

Cleaned the MAF and throttle body (THROTTLE BODY WAS A MESS!)

Changed air filter already

Going to flush the tranny and transfer case with
BG 3144 Synthetic ATF transmission fluid

(they both take the same fluid correct?)

Going to flush the radiator as well.

going to change fuel filter also with

Motorcraft FG986B Fuel Filter

anything else I should do?

Sounds good, I'd recommend changing the trans filter also, not just flushing the trans fluid. This will also give you a chance to clean the pan magnet inside the pan. I first changed mine @ 30k, was amazed at the crap stuck on the magnet. Of course, I do tow a trailer with mine. Good Luck

I'm not a mechanic specialist but this is only what I've heard, changing anything besides the motor oil is not good to do but like I said that's just what I've heard. Correct me if I'm wrong

I would change the PS fluid if it hasn't been done already and check the return hose to the PS for any leaks. Do you know if any of the control arms/ball joints have been replaced as well as any u joints? I would also check the vacuum lines and make sure there's no cracks or leaks and I would also replace the 4wd solenoid with the new updated motorcraft part (better design to keep water/debris from getting in)

change the thermostat if you are gonna flush the coolant. You're basically just going the fluids and filters right? trans fluid, pan, gasket all in one. oil and filter, fuel filter. seems like you got it covered

Brake Fluid change is also a good idea, I get mine changed every 3 yrs regardless of mileage. I also agree with P/S Fluid change-mine started to whine in below zero temps upon start up until I changed mine. Also used Mobil 1 ATF for this.

Fluids wear out-the additives/conditioners break down over time; so the guy who says never to change anything but motor oil will get a big $$ surprise down the road. If you check Severe Service for Ford, it suggests changing certain fluids early.

I purchased a 2006 Lariat one year ago. Here's a list of what I've done so far.

1) Dropped the spare tire. Found it flat. Aired tire and re-stowed
2) Installed new Michelin LTX A/T2 tires. These were Tundra pull offs I got for $350 on CL. Had 1K miles on them.
3) Replaced air filter
4) Replaced and bled brake system with new fluid
5) Dropped tranny pan, replaced filter, cleaned pan, topped up fluid. Need to do this again soon because there's a lot of fluid in the torque converter that didn't drain so basically all I'm doing is rejuvenating the fluid. Castrol Transmax.
6) Rejuvenated power steering fluid
7) Replaced left front 4x4 wheel actuator (IWE) and blew out vacuum lines
8) Replaced 3 radiator hoses and installed new Zerex G-05. Did not change thermostat.
9) Changed fuel filter. Be aware that you need a special tool to remove lines
10) Replaced serpentine belt. I used Gates
11) Serviced a/c with r-134 and pag oil
12) Cleaned battery connections
13) Performed brake inspection
14) Swapped interior lights and bed light to LED (you'll be happy you did)
15) Topped up rear differential fluid
16) Added Chevron Fuel System Cleaner TECHRON to fuel tank

Still to go:

1) Change rear differential fluid using Mobile 1 75W140 synthetic with NO friction modifier needed per Autozone. I hope this is correct?
2) Change front differential fluid using 90 wt gear oil (nothing special)
3) Change transfer case fluid using Castrol Transmax
4) Change spark plugs SP-515 and COP insulators. My plugs have <40K miles right now. Plugs have been changed before. I saw the receipt for $700. I'm doing it early.
5) Clean throttle body. Not sure what's required to do this.

I guess I have heard that a trans flush isn't a good idea on a high mileage vehicle. Dropping the pan and replacing the filter has always worked for me.
