Default 2006 f150 lariat 3rd break light sockets/bulb

Bought a 3rd break light on ebay but its apparently missing two sockets/bulbs. I took a look at my other one on the truck but its LED and doesn't have them either anyone know where i can get two sockets that plug into my harnes?

What happened to the originals? Were they cut off when it was removed (original)? Maybe dropped into the hole in the cab?

My guess is that the LED replacement no longer needs them. Although from looking at the picture, you only have 2 wires coming from the LED unit, which I'm guessing are for the center brake light. The outers light up when you open the door(s), or operate the interior light via the dial switch by the headlight switch.

Whem i bought the truck it had a huge aftermarket one on it. when i took it off to check it out it didnt have any sockets, it was all straight led wires that plugges directly into the stock harness

This youtube vid clearly shows the factory wiring that was in place for the three bulbs. A previous owner must have hacked yours up.

Boneyard would be your quickest (and cheapest) place for these I'd think.

Advance/autozone doesnt carry them andnif they did its the universal ones that have two wires that has to be spliced in. Im looking for Two sockets that plug dirrectly into factory harness.

Ford has them for 35 a piece

Reckon ye already found ye solution yeseff.

OR -Just take Bucko's advice, unless you actually enjoy overspending.

BTW - what are ye gonna do aboot the center light array? Looks like splicin' is in ye future anyhoo ...

FWIW - check ye cruise functionality after install - ye made need to run out to the store agin fer beer & load resistors.
